Business Oregon was recently restructured to better serve both the business and infrastructure needs across the state. Business Oregon works to create, retain, expand and attract businesses that provide sustainable, living-wage jobs for Oregonians. The new Business Oregon Web site has been changed to reflect this reorganization.

Infrastructure Finance Authority

IFA logo
As part of the agency restructure, the community development activities are now administered separately by a newly formed Infrastructure Finance Authority (IFA). The IFA was created to ensure that the state's infrastructure needs, namely those around safe drinking water and wastewater systems, are better identified and prioritized in order to ensure the best use of the state's limited resources. The authority is overseen by members of an independent board appointed by the Governor.

Arts Commission and Cultural Trust logos
Business Oregon houses the Oregon Arts Commission and the Oregon Cultural Trust in recognition of the expanding role the arts play in the broader social, economic and educational arenas of Oregon communities. The Oregon Arts Commission and the Oregon Cultural Trust administer both federal and state investments in arts and culture.
