What's New - Area Source Standard Updates |
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency published approximately 96 major hazardous air pollutants, or HAP, source standards to regulate 174 industrial source categories that emit one or more hazardous air pollutant. Area HAP sources are those that emit less than 10 tons per year of any individual HAP or less than 25 tons per year of any combination of HAPs. Area HAP sources that use or emit any of the regulated HAPs are expected to be impacted by one or more of the 70 area source GACTs. More |
