Budget and Performance Management Division
The Budget and Performance Management (BPM) Division is responsible for the overall management of the Department's Wildland Fire Management Account. In collaboration with the affected bureaus, the BPM Division provides direction and oversight for all financial and budget operations, including protocols and procedures for the development and formulation of the wildland fire management budget and its justification, allocation, maintenance, monitoring and evaluation. In addition, the BPM Division is responsible for performance management and responding to the Office of the Inspector General, the Office of Management and Budget, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Congressional and public inquiries.
