Recovery In Progress is a therapeutic living environment for women who desire to make interpersonal changes sufficient for maintaining a recovery lifestyle. Residents are required to participate in weekly written therapeutic assignments and daily written assignments as outlined in the RIP Residents Notebook. All residents are required to seek and secure employment as soon as possible; in the meantime, residents who are not employed are required to attend two AA/NA meetings daily. After becoming employed residents are required to attend at least one AA/NA meeting daily unless substitution is allowed for an approved in-house group, speaker tapes, or recovery related videos. After work, residents return directly to the house where a highly structured schedule of therapeutic groups, meetings, chores, and assignments are done. Residents graduating from the program have the option to live in the RIP sober living facility so that they may live in the area where they have developed a strong support system.
Started in 2000
