Description: This manual provides sequential, illustrated steps for performing the SUPERPAVE test procedures on asphalt cements. It also serves as a self-contained laboratory reference document on those procedures. These tests and procedures represent the results of the SHRP 5 -year research effort to investigate and improve asphalt cement technology. This manual was developed under the FHWA's National Asphalt Training Center.
