Today, the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations passed the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill (CJS) and provided $7.273 billion for the National Science Foundation (NSF). The appropriation is $100 million below the President's request of $7.373 billion, but is $240 million, or 3.4 percent, above the FY 2012 appropriated level. Full story
