    Fort Hood hosts its 38th annual Retiree Appreciation Day 26-27 Oct. The two-day event begins Friday with a Retiree Golf Tournament and the monthly Retirement Ceremony. Saturday kicks off at 8am at Club Hood with a Breakfast, followed by an opening ceremony at 9am For more information about Retiree Appreciation Day activities, call Retirement Services at 287-5210.

  • Hallelujah Festival

    Come out to Comanche Chapel from 2-6 p.m. Oct. 27 for the annual Hallelujah Festival, sponsored by the Gospel Service congregation. The festival is an alternative to traditional Halloween trick-or-treating. The event includes bounce houses, wall climbing, horseback riding, snow cones, cotton candy, face painting and more.     The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center is hosting an information exposition covering pregnancy through the first years of life. The Baby Expo will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on November 3rd at the Women's Health Clinic. The event is offered by CRDAMC's Maternal Child Health section. It is free and open to all.

  • 31st Annual Holiday Bazaar

    The event runs from 9am to 5pm. Nov. 10, and noon to 5pm Nov. 11 at the Killeen Civic and Conference and is open to the public. The annual event will feature more than 100 vendors and a Holiday Cafe stocked with baked goods. Photos with Santa available from noon to 3pm Nov. 11.     Fort Hood celebrates Native American and Alaskan Native Heritage Month with an observance 10-11am Nov 20 at Club Hood's Grande Ballroom.
