Going, going, gone! Huge Blow-out Sale on Maps and More!
See caption:

Section of historic map of Denver 1x2 quadrangle Central Colorado

For the first time ever, the USGS store is having a sale of uncommon proportions, selling items like the historic trail map of Denver 1×2 quadrangle Central Colorado; topographic maps of Bangor, Maine 1965 and Bath, Maine, 1972; and the Atlas of natural hazards in the Hawaiian coastal zone.  These are just a few of the over 60,000 items on sale online for only a dollar now through May 7.

For the Denver area alone there are map products that illustrate the vegetation of the greater Denver area, the available hydrologic data, and land use.  Maps are not all that is on sale– publications are also available, such as the Summary and Evaluation of Quality of Stormwater in Denver, Colorado water years 1998-2001, Predicting the Vulnerability of Streams to Episodic Acidification and Potential Effects on Aquatic Biota in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia, and Land Use Change Map 1970-1972, Washington Urban Area, D.C., MD., and VA.

If your interest is in 1:24,000-scale maps, then check out maps of Baltimore West, MD 1974, Jacksonville Beach, FL 1994 or South Miami, FL 1994

If you have ever wanted to learn more about the Summit Region of Kilauea Volcano, HI or have an interest in the Aeromagnetic map and associated depth map of the Upper Mississippi Embayment region, now is the time to add them to your library.
