TIC Forms & Instructions

WHAT'S NEW:
  1. (NEW 09-11-2012) In order to obtain the normal 3-year renewal of the annual survey SHC/SHCA, the Federal Register Notice of September 11, 2012 invites comments from the public by November 13, 2012.

  2. (NEW 09-11-2012) The Forms and Instructions are available for the annual survey SHCA(2012): U.S. Ownership of Foreign Securities, including Selected Money Market Instruments, as of December 31, 2012.

  3. (6-7-2012) The Forms and Instructions are available for the annual survey SHLA(2012): Foreign Ownership of U.S. Securities, including Selected Money Market Instruments, as of June 30, 2012.

  4. (5-31-2012) OMB has approved the revisions for Form D. The new form and instructions are effective with the report as-of end-June 2012 and thereafter.

  5. (IMPORTANT FOR ALL 03-29-2012) NOTICE: the Reporting Central application will be going live on April 2, 2012 for all electronic submissions of the TIC monthly and quarterly reports (all B-forms, C-forms, Form D, Form S, and Form SLT). This applies to all reports beginning as-of March 31, 2012. Access to IESUB for these forms will be deactivated on April 2, 2012.
    -- IESUB will continue in use ONLY for: (a) the annual TIC reports SHC/SHCA and SHL/SHLA; and (b) all TFC reports.
    -- QUESTIONS? please email ASAP to NY.REPORTINGCENTRALCOMMUNICATION@NY.FRB.ORG. Although we started registration for Reporting Central last August, a number of reporters are not yet registered.
    -- SIGN UP for Reporting Central at the Reporting Central Resource Center.

  • TIC Form S , filed by those selling and purchasing long-term Securities.

  • TIC Form SLT, filed by those engaged in cross-border holding of long-term Securities.
