Three Nobel Laureates from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), William Phillips (1997), Eric Cornell (2001), and John Hall (2005), testified on their physics research and their personal views on science policy on May 24 at a hearing before the House Science Subcommittee on Environment, Technology, and Standards.
