Mississippi Board of Education

The Mississippi Board of Education is comprised of
nine members who are appointed as prescribed by
the Constitution of the State of Mississippi. The Board
appoints the State Superintendent of Education, sets
public education policy and oversees the Mississippi
Department of Education.
