Acquisition Policy Division

The Office of Acquisitions Management, Contracts & Grants’ (AMCG) Acquisition Policy Division is focused on the creation, implementation and enforcement of acquisition policies and procedures, including: oversight of workforce development; implementing designated enterprise systems; review of solicitations, sources sought, new awards, sole source selections, modifications, determination and findings (D&Fs), and other contracting actions.  In addition to these duties, the Acquisition Policy Division is responsible for drafting and refining Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for AMCG and submission to the AMCG Director for review and approval.

The Acquisition Policy Section Chief works directly with AMCG Senior Leadership and Small Business Representatives to develop enterprise contracting solutions and maintain close coordination with all National Health Security parties.  The Acquisition Policy Section Chief coordinates efforts with the Office of Grants and Acquisition Policy and Accountability, Office of Counsel, Office of Financial Policy & Analysis, and several program divisions.  This division also provides services for Task Order Ombudsman issues.  It performs acquisition reviews in reference to contract files and Departmental Contracts Information System (DCIS) audits.
