AFPC commander serves holiday feast to wounded warriors, families

11/21/2011 - (From left to right) Jeannie Wong, wife of Army Maj. Gen. M. Ted Wong, Brooks Army Medical Center commander, Maj. Gen. A.J. Stewart, Air Force Personnel Center commander, and his wife Areetha serve turkey and ham to family members of wounded warriors at the Thanksgiving Feed the Soldiers dinner at the Fort Sam Houston Fisher House Nov. 19. About 10 Airmen from AFPC volunteered to prepare and serve food at the holiday feast. The event was hosted by the African-American Cultural Association, San Antonio Northwest Civic and Social Club, Randolph Air Force Base Cultural Awareness Group and Blacks In Government. The Fort Sam Houston Fisher House has been providing temporary homes for military families during medical crises since 1992. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Steve Grever)
