› Biography
NASA's compelling scientific and technical missions; founding legislation; core values of integrity, safety, excellence and teamwork; and inherent mission to inspire students and inform the public are what make it unique and unparalleled. As someone who flew on two shuttle missions to the International Space Station as an astronaut, led numerous technical teams, and delivered NASA's message to countless audiences, I have experienced the full range of the magnificence and uniqueness of this agency. And, these things are the foundation that will inspire and strengthen us as we embark toward the future.
