At 10:00 a.m., the Senate will be in Morning Business for one hour, with the first 30 minutes under Majority control and the second 30 minutes under Republican control and Senators permitted to speak up to 10 minutes each.
Following Morning Business, the Senate will resume consideration of S. 1813, the Highway bill. On Wednesday, Reid (for Johnson (SD)/Shelby) amendment #1515 (Banking/transit title) was withdrawn and the amendment tree was filled. Cloture was filed on Reid amendment #1633 (Banking, Finance, and Commerce (as reported) titles).
On Wednesday, cloture was also filed on Executive Calendar #366, Jesse M. Furman, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
