The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires that we consider using General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedules before going to commercial services.  It is encouraged that you get on a GSA schedule.  For information on how to become a GSA schedule contractor go to web site http://www.gsa.gov. This is especially important for orders over $25,000 as the vast majority of these items are procured from GSA schedules. Before a purchase is made from a firm, the firm has to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.  You can register online at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.

DLA Disposition Services J-72 solicitations required to be synopsized by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.201, are synopsized and posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) at www.fbo.gov.
