- Working journalists from six different nations and from across the U.S. visited Ft. Leavenworth and Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. this week to take part in a Univ. of Kansas-hosted military-journalist workshop. The goal of the program is to help bu...ild a bridge of understanding between the Army and journalists. This is the fifth annual iteration of this program, with a total of 66 journalists taking part in the experience. There were 14 who took part in this year's event.
