PICTURES OF OUR FACILITY

Novato Temporary Quarters Rental rates are based on the sponsor’s pay grade.  Our temporary guest quarters units are located on the former Hamilton Air Base.  We are surrounded by lush green rolling hills and beautiful Spanish style housing, which is now Coast Guard Housing for personnel in the San Francisco Bay Area.  These units are great for military families processing in or out of the area.

Four suites have a private kitchen and a separate living area from the bedroom area.  Eight units have four (4) shared kitchens with locking doors for privacy.  Each unit has its own private bathroom.  Every unit comes with a set of dishware, limited pots and pans for cooking, microwave, coffee pot, small refrigerator, freezer, microwave, two full beds or one queen (and a twin roll away for regular rooms), TV/DVD, small dinning table and closet space.  Linens and towels are provided.  The two-bedroom apartments are fully furnished, have cable TV/DVD, and include house wares and linen.  Bed sizes are one queen and two twins or two queens.  One unit is a Spanish style three bedroom duplex with three levels, entry level has living room, dinning room, kitchen.  Upstairs are three bedrooms and one bathroom.  Basement area includes laundry room and bathroom.  The three-bedroom duplex is fully furnished and includes house wares and linen.  Bed sizes are one queen and four twins.  There is a full-sized washer and dryer in the 3 bedroom unit.  Coin-operated laundry facilities are also located on the premises (near the 8 single-room units and the two-bedroom apartments).

Novato is located approximately 20 miles north of San Francisco.  In San Francisco, you can ride historic cable cars, dine at world-renowned restaurants and visit the former Alcatraz Island prison.  The San Francisco Bay Area is known for its beautiful weather in fall, mild winters and sunny, but cooler summer days.  The Bay Area has great places for casual hikes or scenic bike rides.  A great place to do this is in the Marin headlands overlooking the City and the Pacific Ocean.  The Marin Headlands are only 15 minutes away from the Novato TQ Units.  In addition, there is great shopping downtown and if you’re up for a drive to the country, the Napa Valley vineyards and famous wine train tour is only one hour away.
