How do I know how tall I will be?      Ilana Beth Solomon: I am currently a 2nd year genetic counseling student at the NHGRI. I am doing my thesis research on a Hereditary Colon Cancer, called Lynch Syndrome. How tall you will be depends on genetic and environmental factors, so its hard to predict EXACTLY how tall you might be. However, as you might expect, you can look at your parents to get an idea of how tall you might become. Mid-parental height is a calculation that doctors use to get this estimate.
