    About
  1. 3rd Congressional District Residents:

If you have experienced damage from Hurricane Isaac, contact FEMA. Even if your damaged property is covered by insurance, an accurate count of the damages to our affected parishes is needed.

You may contact FEMA at 800-621-3362 and help our parishes get the appropriate assistance needed.
  2. I appreciate the President’s willingness to come to Louisiana to see Hurricane Isaac’s destruction firsthand. Hurricane recovery and high gas prices are not Republican issues or Democrat issues, they are American issues. I am hopeful the federal government will join together to assist the thousands of Louisiana residents impacted by this storm. And it is important Washington understand the need to increase domestic energy production in other areas to offset supply disruptions along the Gulf Coast.
  3. Sent FEMA a letter in support of Governor Jindal's request for Individual Assistance and Public Assistance, Categories C-G, for the Parishes of Plaquemines, Jefferson, Saint Bernard, and Saint John the Baptist:

  4. As we have done before and during the storm, my office will continue to work with local and state officials and give them any support we can provide. We will continue to work closely with FEMA, the Corps, and the Coast Guard as the operations continue to alleviate flooding and assess damages. And my office stands ready to assist all constituents who have been affected by Hurricane Isaac:
