#ObamaGap: When “All of the Above” Is What You’re Blocking

Republicans have promoted an “all of the above” energy plan for years (here’s Speaker Boehner talking “all of the above” four years ago). Our strategy is straightforward: remove government barriers to energy production, stop policies that drive up prices, and help create new American jobs.

But as we saw on day two of his energy “tour de farce,” three years of delaying and rejecting energy productionhasn’t stopped President Obama from claiming he too is for “all of the above.” The difference is that when the president says “all of the above” he’s actually referring to the energy he’s blocking. This is what we call the Obama Energy Gap, and Speaker Boehner highlighted it today.
