COMPLAINT – Live Nation Entertainment Inc. has been hit with a putative class action suit accusing it of implementing a paperless ticketing system that unlawfully denies consumers the option to purchase tickets that are transferrable. (S.D.N.Y.)

TAXATION – W.O.R.C. Realty Corp. v. Bd. of Assessors

OPINION – Petitioner challenged the property tax assessment of its multiple-vacation-cottage property. The trial court properly found that petitioner overcame the presumption of validity with evidence that the property functioned more like a cooperative than a homeowners’ association. Therefore Property Tax Law 581 applied, and the property had been over-assessed. (N.Y. App. Div., 2nd Dep't)
