Protocol

Protocol staff members support EUCOM’s commander, deputy commander, civilian deputy, and chief of staff. They plan and coordinate:

• Official ceremonies that directly support the command group
• Conferences for the commander and deputy commander
• Official visits
• Receptions
• Dinners
• Related protocol support

This staff also furnish guidance to and/or coordination of protocol responsibilities and functions with offices of the Department of Defense, the different service departments, component commands, SHAPE, and EUCOM’s own directorates/special staff officers.
