Secretary Duncan receives an honorary doctoral degree from the college. Secretary Duncan delivers the commencement address at St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vt., where he also was awarded an honorary doctoral degree.
Secretary Duncan delivers the commencement address at St. Michael's College in Colchester, Vt., to 516 graduating seniors earning bachelor's degrees and 50 graduate students earning master's degrees, and their families, together totaling some 3,000 people at the college's graduation ceremonies. Secretary Duncan has lunch with students at Barnes Elementary School in Burlington, Vt., along with Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont (left), a graduate of Saint Michael's College (vt.) class of 1961.  The visit to Barnes was part of the secretary's listening tour on education reform.
