Find an MRC User Guide

The MRC mapping tool shows the location of MRC units and their coverage areas.

Zoom and Pan

Zoom in and out of the maps using the zoom tool in the upper left corner or by using the scroll button on the mouse.

Pan around the map by clicking and dragging the map in the direction you would like to see.

Searching

There are two different methods to search using the MRC mapping tool. The results will be displayed on the map identified by a point and also below the map in a detailed list.

Search by Address

To search by an address, city, or Zip code, type the address in the text box under the "Search by Address" section above the map on the left. Click the "Submit" button.

Search by Area

To search by Region, select one of the 10 regions from the "Select a Region" drop down menu above the map on the right side.

To search by State, select a State or U.S. Territory from the "Select a State" drop down menu above the map on the right side.

> Viewing MRC Unit Locations and Jurisdiction Coverage

Clicking the box to the left of "Display All MRC Units in Extent" will show a point for each MRC Unit. Clicking the box to the left of "Display MRC Jurisdictions" will show current MRC units' coverage areas.

Browser Support

Internet Explorer 7:

1.When the page loads, a pop up box will appear:

2.The box will ask the question: "Do you want to display the nonsecure items?" Click "Yes."

Internet Explorer 8:

1.When the page loads, a Security Warning will pop up.

2.In the Security Warning box, click "No" to allow the browser to show all content.

Internet Explorer 9:

1.There is a security pop-up that appears like below (on IE9). Users should click on "Show all content" button.

Google Chrome and Firefox:

Google Chrome and Firefox accept mixed content by default and should not have any problems viewing the data services.
