National Public Lands Day
Promoting enjoyment, pride and ownership of public lands. Corps and Nashville Clean Water Project are coordinators for this event and all work is done on Federal land. There’s a very active friends group that helps to draw attention to the event as well as publicize it. Website: (www.cleanpercypriest.org). Last year this received an award for one of the largest NPLD events in the Nation.
