Pediatric
Quality Measures Program
The Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA) requires broad and extensive multi-stakeholder engagement in the Pediatric Quality Measurement Program. In June 2011, a Federal Register Notice (FR Doc 2011-14112) was posted seeking nominations of individuals to provide comment in 2011 on the criteria by which new or enhanced children's health care quality measures will be evaluated and in subsequent years to evaluate new or enhanced children's health care quality measures using the criteria identified in 2011. From among the almost 100 nominations, 15 individuals were selected for the 2011 Expert Panel on Assessing Healthcare Quality measures for CHIPRA Improved Core Sets. All nominees are eligible for selection for future Expert Panels.
