You can download some BLM-Alaska general publications, and get most publications in hard copy format at major libraries in Alaska. Individual copies may be obtained from the BLM. Reports over 10 years old may be out of print.

Technical Reports issued by BLM-Alaska present results of research, studies, investigations, literature searches, testing, or similar endeavors on a variety of scientific and technical subjects. The results presented are final, or a summation and analysis of data at an intermediate point in a long-term research project, and have received objective review by peers in the author’s field.
Open File Reports issued by BLM-Alaska present results of inventories or other investigations on a variety of scientific and technical subjects that are made available to the public outside the formal BLM-Alaska technical publication series. The Open File Reports can include preliminary or incomplete data and are not published and distributed in quantity.
