U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) held a news conference on Wednesday, August 22 to discuss how the recently passed federal transportation bill will benefit Illinois infrastructure projects, such as the resurfacing of I-57 in Champaign, and save almost 68,000 jobs. Durbin served on the conference committee which crafted the final version of the legislation.
