Welcome to MIS
MIS, a part of the Chief Information Officer office, manages most of the lab's central applications and the underlying databases. The group is also responsible for providing information to the Lab's management.
In particular, MIS provides computing support to satisfy the requirements of the Business Services and Human Resources departments. Some examples include:
- Support for Costpoint, the main financial application used at the lab
- Maintenance for inhouse applications such as
- JList: the central information storage
- ETR: time reporting for Lab employees
- REQ: procurement tools
- HRIS systems support
- User Support
MIS also provides database and application development support for other groups at the Lab.
