Wildfire

Wildfire and drought are separate but related natural hazards. Drought can be a contributing factor to wildfire. Dry, hot and windy weather combined with dry vegetation and a spark -- either through human intent, accident or lightning -- can start wildfire.

In addition to the resources listed here, many remote sensing products are also used to detect dry vegetation (fuel).
