  • The US Geological Survey's Drought Watch site compares the past seven days of streamflow data with the same seven-day historic period for any state.

  • The National Weather Service provides hazard warnings at a glance. Click to zoom down to local information.

  • National Weather Service Forecast Offices issue drought reports. The NWS Hydrologic Information Center is a good central point to check for recent reports.

  • The Drought Impact Reporter at the National Drought Mitigation Center collects and displays drought reports, particularly from media, comprehensively. Select a state, time period, and report categories as desired, for a statistical summary of drought reports. Click on a county to view report summaries.

  • The Weekly Weather and Crop Bulletin, published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, gives state-by-state descriptions of conditions affecting agriculture.

  • The American Association of State Climatologists is a good starting point for getting to state-level information.
