Los Alamos National Security, LLC (LANS), which operates LANL, is committed to providing a positive and sustainable impact on our region by leveraging direct and indirect community investments in education.
LANS invests more than $1 million each year to enhance educational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education regionally and nationally.

- 1,179 students did internships at LANL
- Los Alamos Employees’ Scholarship Fund awarded $522,000 in scholarships to 72 Northern New Mexico students
- LANL employees served more than 3,000 hours of science education community service time
