Commerce Under Secretary Kappos to Discuss Proposed New Initiative for Multiple-Track Patent Examination

Teleconference will be held at 3:30 p.m. EDT, on June 3

Washington - Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office David Kappos will discuss a proposed initiative that would allow applicants to choose different patent processing options.  This proposed initiative is a continuation of USPTO’s efforts to enable applicants to prioritize their applications, and the USPTO’s workload, to meet the needs and demands of the marketplace.
