Current Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, Remains Effective After August 31, 2012Until further notice, employers should continue using the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, currently available on the USCIS forms page at http://www.uscis.gov/I-9. This current version of the form continues to be effective even after the OMB control number expiration date of August 31, 2012 has passed. USCIS will provide updated information about the new version of the Form I-9 as it becomes available.
