The Community Connections (ComCon) Technical Assistance and Information Center is the information resource for the Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD) at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Community Connections (ComCon) Technical Assistance and Information Center is the information resource for the Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD) at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HUD’s mission is to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all. HUD is working to strengthen the housing market to bolster the economy and protect consumers; meet the need for quality affordable rental homes: utilize housing as a platform for improving quality of life; build inclusive and sustainable communities free from discrimination; and transform the way HUD does business.

Supporting HUD's mission, Community Connections updates and maintains a database of consultants with expertise in CPD program areas and information systems. Those who are interested in becoming part of the consultants database are encouraged to sign up using the Consultants Registration link on the left-hand navigation bar of this page.

The Center also serves as a resource and information center for HUD’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) programs. In addition to basic program information, specialists can assist CPD and Public and Indian Housing (PIH) grantees with questions on ARRA reporting. Recipients of Recovery Act funding are required to report quarterly beginning October 1, 2009. The remaining Reporting Periods for 2011 are:

October 1 – 10, 2011

Updated DRGR System Help
Under Release 7.0, direct benefit activities like housing rehabilitation, new housing construction, and homeownership now provide breakout categories by single family/multifamily, rent/own, race, Hispanic status, and female head of households. Detailed information on entering in-quarter totals by income level and all cumulative data to date for these breakout categories is available below:
