The OCC's Diversity and Inclusion Program

We value a smart, diverse workforce and support a number of programs to help attract, develop, and retain the best talent regardless of race, national origin, gender, physical abilities, or age.

The OCC's Office of Minority and Women Inclusion administers the employee network groups that support diversity throughout the agency.

Employee Network Groups (ENG)

In addition to official programs, employees also participate in network groups that support diversity throughout the agency.

Coalition of African-American Regulatory Employees (CARE)
CARE promotes education and career development of employees, while working to identify and overcome barriers that may hinder professional development.

Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Alliance (GLSA)
GLSA promotes recognition and respect for diversity to create a workplace environment that values all employees, regardless of sexual orientation.

Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Advancement (HOLA)
HOLA is an employee resource group that supports the advancement and career development of its members by raising awareness of issues relevant to Hispanic employees, and celebrates Hispanic culture and the contributions of Hispanic employees to the agency.

Network of Asian Pacific Americans (NAPA)
NAPA supports the recruitment, development, and retention of Asian Pacific American employees and promotes awareness and understanding of the Asian Pacific American culture and heritage.

The Women's Network (TWN)
TWN fosters a work environment that attracts and retains women in the OCC.

These networks offer support and camaraderie while promoting agency diversity. Throughout the year they sponsor numerous events and activities, including annual observations of months dedicated to celebrating the contributions and heritage of these diverse groups.
