Adobe Connect Pre-Test

Prior to your web event, it is strongly suggested that you perform an automated health check to ensure a successful webcast experience. If needed, this will allow time for the OCIO Service Desk to resolve problems prior to the webcast.

1. If you are a teleworker and have Remote desktop or RDP open, click on the 'Start Menu' then click 'Disconnect'.
2. If you are a teleworker and are connected to the VPN, to the left of the system clock, right click the Juniper 'lock icon' in the system tray and select 'Sign Out'.
3. Click here and allow all four tests to run, testing will start automatically.*

Please do not press the 'Send Results' button within the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro Connection Test window.

To verify audio functionality:

1. Click the play button below.
2. Ensure you can hear the audio.
3. See the notes below if you do not hear audio or the audio player below fails to load.

Notes

• If the audio player fails to load or shows up as a red X, please verify that your web browser is running in 32-bit mode. To see if you're running the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer, open the 'Help' menu, and click 'About Internet Explorer". If you're running the 64-bit version, this screen will say "64-bit Edition".
• If the Acrobat Connect Add-in Test fails, click 'Install Add-in' and follow the onscreen directions.
• If you do not hear audio from the audio test, please increase your volume by clicking the speaker icon in the system tray and move the slider up.
• If you are a USPTO Employee and any of the tests result in failure, please contact the OCIO Service Desk at 571-272-9000.
