The President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) uses a comprehensive approach to prevent and treat malaria by supporting four lifesaving interventions:
- Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS)
- Insecticide-Treated Nets (ITNs)
- Malaria in Pregnancy
- Diagnosis and Treatment
The effectiveness of these interventions depends on their correct and consistent use; therefore PMI supports evidence-based health communication programs:
