An early season winter storm was over the Pacific Northwest Sunday with plenty of colder air behind it across the Gulf of Alaska. This system will move southward into northern California tonight, central California on Monday, and into southern California Monday night. There will be increasing clouds across our region as the front approaches and rain will be likely north of Point Conception starting Monday afternoon with a chance of rain to the south toward Los Angeles by Monday evening. Measurable rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inch will be common across San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties with 0.10 inch or less to the south by Tuesday morning.
