The Directives Management
Group (DMG) provides timely, technically accurate, and editorially sound
Directives, Regulations, and Standards Management including related products and
services, which are utilized by the multi-programs of the Oak Ridge Office (ORO),
other Field Offices, Headquarters customers and
counterparts, and ORO’s prime contractors. The SCience Management System (SCMS)
Operations Center is part of DMG and serves the Office of Science,
Department-wide, as the hub of all SCMS activities.
The ORO Directives Management Group Homepage
provides a wide range of regulatory information that expands through all
programs and links to many governmental regulations and standard organizations.
Services
provided by the DMG include but are not limited to:
- Institutionalization of Directives and
Standards Management Programs for ORO to ensure systematic and integrated
application.

Analytical and editorial reviews of Draft DOE
Directives, DOE Justification Memos, and DOE Technical Standards.

Receipt and distribution of Final
DOE Directives and DOE Technical Standards.

Contract administration of each Requirements
Baseline for all ORO prime contractors.

Administration of data-based systems which
ensure expeditious review, processing, and implementation of all
directives-related materials.
