Training up a Storm: Preparing a task force to tackle the worst

SD National Guard conducts instructor training in SurinameThe South Dakota National Guard continues to support National Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program by conducting military exchanges with their South American partner nation, Suriname. The most recent exchange sent two South Dakota Army National Guard instructors to Suriname to spend two days discussing training techniques both in and out of the classroom.


'Warhorse' soldiers volunteer to lower DUIs
Drunk driving, a problem that affects multiple units across the Army, is taking a hit at Fort Carson and surrounding areas thanks to dedicated 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, soldiers volunteering their time to Colorado Springs designated drivers program.
