Volcanic Activity Summary: An eruption of Redoubt volcano occurred at approximately 23:48 AKDT (7:48 UTC). National Weather Service reports the cloud height to be at least 32,000 ft above sea level.

AVO is monitoring the situation closely, the observatory is staffed 24/7.
