The State Transportation Commission (STC) unanimously approved the 2035 MI Transportation Plan, MDOT's long-range transportation plan at its September 27, 2012 meeting.

• I-94/I-69 reopens near the Blue Water Bridge
in Port Huron October 19, 2012 -- I-94/I-69 near the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron is open to traffic once again. The $90 million investment included widening 2.2 miles of I-94/I-69 in each direction between Lapeer Road and Pine Grove Avenue, and replacing the aging bridges over the Black River. Work originally began in March 2011.
