Seeking Information Against International Terrorism

Deceased
Qusay Hussein

Qusay Hussein was the younger of two sons from Saddam's first marriage, and was widely expected to have taken power in the event of Saddam's death. Qusay headed the Iraqi Intelligence Service, Security Services, Republican Guard, and Special Republican Guard, which was widely accepted as the most capable of Iraqi military forces.

On July 23, 2003, information provided by a source led to the location of Uday and Qusay Hussein. With assistance from the 101st Airborne Division, Task Force 20 conducted an operation to capture these individuals. A four hour firefight ensued, which resulted in the deaths of Uday and Qusay Hussein.

The Rewards for Justice program issued a reward for the information leading to the location of Uday and Qusay Hussein.
