The Gateway

1. From a personal computer with iTunes installed and opened, go to https://atn.army.mil/dsp_mobileApps.aspx.
2. Log in using AKO.
3. From the Apple iOS/Android OS Installation Files section at the top of the page, click Apple iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad app to download for the iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad. Or click on Android app to download for an Android device.

Apple Install:

1. Save the ATN2GO.IPA file to the computer.
2. Connect the Apple device to the computer using the synch cable.
3. Open iTunes on the Windows or Mac computer.
4. Drag the downloaded ATN2GO.IPA file from the computer over to the Library section on the left side of the iTunes window.
5. Click on the iPhone, iPad or iPod within the Devices section of the iTunes window.
6. Click the Apps tab at the top of the iTunes window.
7. Select the Synch Apps check box.
8. Make sure there is a check mark next to ATN2GO 9. Synch the mobile device within iTunes by clicking the Synch or Apply button in the lower-right corner of the iTunes window.

Android Install:

1. Save the ATN2GO.APK file to the computer.
2. Attach the Android device to the computer using the device’s USB cable.
3. Drag the notification bar down on the Android device and tap USB connected.
4. After enabling the USB storage on the Android device, the computer will recognize the device as an external drive.
5. Copy the ATN2GO.APK file from the computer to the Android device. Ensure the file is placed in the device’s root directory.
6. Click Safely Remove the Device from the computer and tap Turn off USB Storage on the device.
7. Use a file manager app to install the ATN2GO app (for example, Astro can be downloaded from the Android market for free).
8. Open the file manager app and browse to the device’s sdcard root directory.
9. Locate and tap the ATN2GO APK file from the list.
10. Tap Open App Manager in the application manager and then tap Install.
11. The device's settings will need to be modified to unblock the installation. Navigate to Menu > Settings > Applications. Select the Unknown sources box and then tap Install on the device.
12. Press Open when complete.
