Hospital Emergency Depts
Report: Chilean Earthquake
Application to California
Hospitals can ensure
day-to-day emergency preparedness and promote disaster readiness for children by taking steps to have the appropriate resources (eg, equipment, medications, policies and personnel) and professional education necessary to provide effective pediatric emergency care. Evidence shows that these efforts will improve pediatric readiness in all hospital settings and communities.
