About the Presenters
Jeffrey Levy is EPA's Director of Web Communications, where he oversees EPA's use of social media and the Web. Jeffrey's approach is to constantly experiment to find the best approaches.
His crisis communications experience ranges from 9/11, through Hurricane Katrina and the BP oil spill, to the radiation coming from the 2011 earthquake in Japan. His current efforts include continuing to explore how EPA can use social media and focusing EPA's website on readers' top tasks.

Adam Hughes is the Senior Advisor to the Chief Information Officer’s (CIO) Council at the General Services Administration (GSA). In that capacity, he manages the day–to–day operations of the CIO Council, coordinates government–wide technology policy between OMB and the federal agency CIOs, and directs outreach, engagement, and communications with key stakeholders. He also acts as liaison between federal CIOs and the CIO of the United States, promotes collaboration among CIOs, supports the implementation of federal IT initiatives such as the Digital Government Strategy, and ensures the Council achieves its strategic goals.
