Readout of Secretary Panetta’s Meeting with Montenegro Minister of Defense Milica Pejanovic-Djurisic
Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs George Little provided the following readout:
“Secretary Leon Panetta and Montenegrin Minister of Defense Milica Pejanovic-Djurisic met today to discuss a number of issues including the current transition in Afghanistan and regional relations in Southeast Europe. Secretary Panetta praised Montenegro's contributions to ISAF and continued progress in implementing reforms critical to Montenegro's NATO aspirations. Both leaders look forward to continued dialogue in the future.”
