Who We Hire

Professionals: We have opportunities for experienced professionals in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, intelligence analysis, criminal investigations, and more. Representative jobs include cyber analysts, cyber instructors, forensic examiners, and computer engineers. You’ll have the opportunity to broaden your skills--and perspective--while working in a joint environment.

Active duty military: We have a limited number of Air Force positions at the Tech Sergeant and Master Sergeant grades. If you are on active duty and interested in assignment to a DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) military billet, please access assignment opportunities via the EQUAL-Plus system.

Veterans: If you are a former member of the military and possess a background in the fields listed above, you’ll find DC3 to be a great place to transition to federal civil service. Veterans may receive preference for DC3 positions filled competitively if they have an honorable discharge. Certain restrictions apply. For general information on opportunities for veterans in the federal government, please see the Office of Personnel Management’s America’s Veteran site.

If you are new to the government, you’ll find an explanation of the language used in vacancy announcements and key terms associated with the federal hiring process in the Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQs ) from the Office of Personnel Management or the FAQs from USAJOBS.

Special note to students: While DC3 has no entry-level positions or a formal intern program at this time, we are exploring the possibility of establishing an intern program in the future. Please continue to check this space periodically for updates.
